    Good - but small!

Posted by Sam on 9th Jan 2021

Bought this pack a few weeks ago. It was a little more lightweight than I was expecting, and I wasn’t very impressed but by that time I’d already opened it and it can be such a drama returning stuff. Decided to give it a go, so (carefully) packed my day hike kit and went for a wander. It turns out that actually, this bag is really rather nice. You’ll need to be pretty minimal with your kit and there is no frame or padding on the back panel so pack neatly - but the overall design and usability makes it stand out as a good 20L pack. I shan’t be storming the US Capitol building with it, but it’ll do just fine for those days I need a light pack to carry first aid / survival stuff and kit to make a decent coffee.

    Terrible Shoulder Straps

Posted by Sutt on 26th Nov 2020

So I've had this and used this for long enough to make a review. In summery the bag would be what I call usable when having less than a kg or so of weight in it IF the straps weren't so awful. Its a shame but they're pretty important for any pack and these just let it down. A lot. They're paperlike thin, and yes, I know its a lightweight pack etc etc but in my honest opinion this should be no more than a 5l pack (totally pointless unless a specific hydration pack) and advise against anything heavier than a pair of socks going in it before it becomes difficult to put on, the straps twist, and then seem to pull into a cordlike suspension system rather than a shoulder strap. Disappointing.
