    "Cute" little knife

Posted by Philip on 24th Jun 2020

Mine arrived this morning and having read the above reviews I had some trepidation when I took it out the box, no need. The blade was tight, no play and as sharp as expected plus the added bonus that I got ebony scales instead of the rosewood advertised. I was surprised by the size or the lack thereof, having seen the You Tube video and it being half the size of my 110 I expected it to be a bit larger but no problem as I've started to collect the 500 series so need to adjust my sights to smaller knives . This is my 3rd order from H&H and sadly as yet I haven't experienced the lightning delivery, ordered last Thurs arrived lunch time today. The main thing is that what's in the package is worth the wait

Love this little knife. Great fit and finish, no blade play etc. Highly recommended

    Very disappointed

Posted by Druid on 9th Jan 2019

Have a 110 and am so impressed with it thought I'd add this to the collection, and when it arrived ? What a disappointment ! I've seen better looking knives in tourist tat shops on holidays ! The brass looked stained the the body pins were proud of the wood and snagged on everything , if I hadn't bought it from HH I'd have thought I'd been sold a very poor knock off . Only redeeming point is yet again the excellent customer service from HH . So I for one will be sticking with just my 110 hunter .

    It's a grower

Posted by Oldgit on 10th Nov 2017

I have owned this knife for about 6 years and it has sat in a drawer for about 4 years as I was frankly not that impressed against a lot cooler popular knives, you know what I mean!! Anyway, about 2 1/2 years ago, I was having a clear out and came across it and decided to carry and use it. I love this little knife, stays sharp, light, strong, good looking, great to handle and in these days of screaming activists, most people don,t even bat an eye as it looks like an old gentlemans knife. Don,t let that fool you, like most old gentlemen this this isn't,t shy of very hard work in tough conditions. Buy one, it will last you a lifetime and some and if it breaks, Buck will take care of it for you with the lifetime warranty. Honestly, the longer I use it, the more I love it. Beware, it's not legal carry in the uk thanks to our ridiculous and confused knife laws ( rant avoidance) but around the house, far more useful than my 110's or other larger folders and at this price, bargain?

    Ok, but not great

Posted by Chris on 1st Jun 2015

I love the size and the design but there is substantial back and forth blade play on mine out of box against the back lock. Kept it as its only small so not going to put it through anything hard but annoyed due to it not being perfect
