Boker Plus Worldwide

18+ UK Friendly carry

Increasingly strict laws that govern the carrying of knives continue to restrict the choices available for those who wish to carry and use a knife and abide with UK law. The Boker Plus Worldwide - based on a design by Chad Los Banos - represents a configuration whose features pass legal carry requirements in most countries.

The slipjoint knife has a very strong spring to ensure safe operation even without a locking mechanism, a feature further enhanced by the pronounced 90° stop of the blade. Steel liners and Zytel scales form the handle that carries the four-way clip and lanyard hole for carry options.

    Boker legal carry knife

Beautiful knife … very stiff to open … maybe seen as a plus or a minus. That’s the only thing I can see possibly bad about it .

    Quality knife BUT.

Posted by Jeff on 25th Jun 2021

you need to be reminded that it has a "lightweight pocket clip", not a belt clip, also I asked about a pouch to fit when ordering, only to be informed that is not required as it comes with one, NO, it comes with a very large, useless storage - display type case, that is twice the size of the knife, totally useless to a practical man, what a waste of money, sorry Heinnie I have purchased from you for many years, but feel let down this time

A good knife but powerful spring

Posted by Jim on 26th Apr 2021

This is a well made knife and certainly strong in manufacture. I was happy in receiving on very fast delivery from Heinnie this blade, but I had to return it as after cutting my fingers a couple of times when opening or closing it I realized that it was not of use to me as it takes two strong, dry hands and full attention to open the blade for use. This I wanted as a tool in my workshop but it would not be practical. The heavy back spring that holds the blade open (and at 90 deg. half open) is strong. At first I convinced myself it would be fine but in the end, it would be a hassle to de-glove and open it up and it needs a good grip. If it either had a lug on the blade or a less aggressive cam on the pivot, I would have been ok with it. I had a great conversation with Nick about this and good customer service confirmed to me that Heinnie are a worthwhile company to buy from. I will recommend them and there is a huge selection of quality knives to choose from.

    Boker plus Worldwide

Bought this knife for myself maybe a year or 2 ago. Came out the box shaving sharp and kept it edge for months. It's in my pocket every day and I've yet to sharpen it. Still mega sharp. I've just bought another 3 to give to my brothers for Christmas. Great product. Bit stiff to begin with but loosens off to a more manageable 2 handed unfold.

    Fantastic working knife.

Posted by Jack Mansell on 9th Dec 2020

This blade is a fantastic tool for working, it's a really goo d knife to beat on and use for tough work, it is also street legal in most places including the UK so you can have it on you whenever. It holds a really nice edge and glides through most things? It has a nice choil and jimping for comfort and feels great in the hand. It's heavy and sturdy and feels like it's worth more than it costs. The "lock" is incredibly sturdy and there's no danger of the knife closing on you. Now, onto why it is only 4 stars. The one star is missing because opening the blade can be very difficult as the spring is EXTREMELY tight and strong, and while my Boker plus XS (My other street legal drop point knife) opens with relative ease with one hand and is easy to close with one hand. However, this knife is impossible to open with one hand and is tough to open with 2 hands and given how vicious the spring is on this thing I would NEVER attempt to close it with one hand. That's the only gripe I have with this knife and would absolutely recommend this to people.
