With the Boker Camp Knife, one of the forefathers of all modern multi-purpose pocket knives, Boker history began in the year 1869. After almost 150 years of successful market presence, the time came to convert this proven concept into a modern knife. The modernised construction, which is based on solid steel liners, is embedded in two contoured handle scales, made out of black G10. The Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60 HRC, provides outstanding edge retention of the hollow ground blade.

The high quality manufacturing, with a smooth blade action and optimised operability, are proof of the premium quality of Boker Plus Tech Tools. The hollow ground stainless steel blade is accompanied by these tools: Glass-breaker, screwdriver with bottle opener and wire stripper, small serrated blade with screwdriver tip, corkscrew, foldable lanyard hole, scissors, punch/awl, wood saw, pocket clip.

Beats Victorinox at its own game

Posted by Dan on 29th Dec 2018

My leatherman charge TTI is probably the king multi-tool for around the house/farm, but out and about, the tech tool is light enough to carry all day, UK-legal, clearly well made and certainly robust.

The G10 scales are ergonomical, and despite the hollow grind, the knife geometry is great to work wth (though i'd advise stropping before first use to get a more durable, slightly convex edge on the secondary bevel).

The blade steel has better edge retention than my old Swiss Army knife - probably about double, though a bit less than 1095. The absence of a tin opener is a shame, but other than that it has pretty much everything you need.

Really highly recommend this for fellow Brits, especially if you live in the country but work in an office environment. After getting it you don't know how you lived without it.
