Great service. Terrible Knife

This is in no way a knock on HH. Delivery from them was as reliable as ever. Leaders in the industry for a reason. I ordered the Micro Tracker as I thought it would be the ideal entry into Tracker style knives without the bigger investments of the larger versions from other makers and I've been a Fan of Dave Wengers work for a long time. After 3 days with the knife I honestly cannot believe he would be happy to put his name to these blades. Out of the box there was no working edge, uneven grinds and chips In the micarta scales around the flared tubing. Within a day the 2 of the flared tubes were loose and only kept in place by the flaring on the ends. The kydex sheath had lost retention because of the now loose scales making it rattle. I decided to remove the scales completely and now it's in the workshop where it'll stay until I get sick of looking at it. Morale of the story, boler plus might have started using better steel and handle materials but the lack of quality remains the same as always. If you want a Wenger knife, save your money and stomach the Import tax. If you want a Tracker, buy one from better maker than Boker Plus. Again, no shame on HH. A long time customer and I hope to continue to be in the future. But avoid this knife. And anything else from the Boker Plus range. You get what you pay for

Great little knife and bought with the larger and the vitig as a set, too small really to be used as a fullsized one but suprisingly good on green stick work
