Cronidur 30 is the latest of the premium steels coming out of the space shuttle program and Boker is the first to have it available to the sporting knives industry. Cronidur 30 was developed for use in aircraft and aerospace applications, where component durability, reliability and long life are a necessity. Cronidur 30 is superior in corrosion resistance to 440C stainless steel. Large carbides evident in other high grade steels do not exist in Cronidur 30. Instead, there is a homogenous structure of finely dispersed carbon nitrides. With a Rockwell hardness of 58 and the blade composition, these blades will sharpen and hold an edge unlike any other steel currently available. Boker's classic lockback hunting knife, featuring the new Cronidur 30 steel, with elegant Grenadill wood handles are crafted with finger grooves and palm swell to fit the hand perfectly while providing sure control.

    It's worth it!

Made in Solingen. Handles are one piece construction. Blade steel is VERY good. Fit and finish is perfect on mine. This is old school quality craftsmanship and I love it. I do recommend to get a belt sheath - it is heavy for its size.

    First Class

I'm not an authority on knives in general, but I bought this knife because i liked the look of it and thought it would fit in with the other knives in my collection. Well done Heinnie for another perfect delivery, I ordered in the afternoon and received my order the following morning by post. What can I say about the knife other than its a thing of beauty, it feels great in the hand and has a nice weight that smacks of quality. The knife opens with a snap and the whole thing has this lustre and smoothness about it that makes you just want to hold on to it plus the blade is razor sharp out of the box, I know it's not cheap at £147.95 but I would definitely recommend it.
