Benchmade Shorthand refill

This was a perfect pen for my needs (as a theatre reviewer and someone who likes to write on the move). The problem is the original cartridge is a miniature Fisher space pen refill, custom made for Benchmade. Even Benchmade (USA) have run out of stock. The Lamy refill recommended does not slide fully into the chamber, so the nib will not retract. Please sort this problem. The pen is very good (and NOT cheap!)

A word of caution!

This nice and rather expensive pen, upon first inspection, seemed like just what I was looking for. However, not only is it not supplied with an original Lamy M22 refill as claimed, when I tried to fit an original Lamy M22 it wouldn't fit. The problem being that the barrel of the Lamy M22 is thicker. then the one supplied. I promptly returned a pen that I otherwise would have been happy to keep. Since then, not only is the Lamy M22 not in stock at HH, it is now no longer available at HH. So a word of caution before buying this pen is, double check with HH whether it's supplied with an original Lamy M22 refill and if it isn't don't buy it!
