    Excellent EDC Tool

Posted by Chris on 3rd Oct 2023

Service from Heinnie is second to none as always. This is a fantastic little knife. Construction is sturdy, didn't come the sharpest however, nothing aquick strop didn't sort. Great colour, and this now lives on my keys for the rare days I don't carry my main EDC. The steel isn't the best but who cares for £20 it does what its supposed to do and is great for opening packages, cutting down cardboard etc.

    Build quality is lacking..

Posted by Alex on 16th Feb 2021

I ordered one of these a few weeks ago. As per HH customer service, it arrived the very next day. My biggest concern is the quality of the knife/blade. I think there’s either a lapse in either the quality control or the initial manufacturing of the knife. My 1st arrived with some sort of crack/delaminating where the joint of the blade meets the handle. I exchanged this for another & there was another fault exactly the same in the replacement HH sent me. I’m not 100% impressed with the knife so it’ll be used as a box/letter opener rather than a edc. HH customer service is always great, the staff were awesome during the exchange process & were happy to address my concerns quickly.

    Tiny little dress-knife

Bought on a whim. Very impressed! Sturdy, scalpel sharp and with a firm but not stiff mechanism. Goes well to work with me.

    Nice small watch-pocket knife

Very pleased to get as a fathers day gift. The yellow version is brass coloured and goes well with brass edc. Excellent value and good service as ever.

    Nice starter knife

Posted by Mark b on 25th Mar 2020

Sturdy, small folder thats easy to carry and perfect to start the next generation down the path of cutlery collecting. Would probably fit with any keychain, purse, bag or batman equipment belt. The materials used are pretty much idiot proof, if you get this bear cub to rust You probably shouldn't be out in public.

    Solid quality

As small as a key but it has a heft to it that speaks to its quality. It's really well made, extremely sharp, and a real looker (I got the blue version). It's amazing to think this is just £20 when "The James Brand" are selling their equivalent for £100. There is literally nothing that could improve the Bear & Son!
