    Succeeds functionally, cosmetically flawed.

I appreciate the ability to have a US made peanut that isn't made by Case. This is a pretty little knife , nicely slender with it's single clip blade. It takes a razor edge snicks open and snaps closed - there is no half stop. There's no appreciable horizontal blade play and it's positively open or closed. Cosmetically it has noticeable gaps between steel liners and spring on both sides, The spring sits nicely flush with the blade open but noticeably below the liners when closed. It was a bit gritty and a surprising amount of swarf, dirt and gunk came out of it when it was flushed with wD40. The blade wasn't rusty but it wasn't pristine either. It does cost about half what a Case Peanut costs but it should have been a bit better, good little blade though.
