I saw a video on YouTube titled - Escanaba Trip 2 - by "TheApostleP". It was an interview with Mike Stewart, the owner of Bark River Knives. My ears pricked-up when he divulged his heat treatment of various steels. Enter the Bravo 1.5. For me this is the perfect utility fixed-blade. I wanted the S35VN steel, the thumb-ramp, and the extended tang. Blade - 5.75" long. Handle - 4/7x8" long. Extended Tang - .25" long. Stock - 5.48mm thick. Balance Point - .25" in from the hilt. It is slightly handle heavy. The convex edge is flawless. The handle has a good palm-swell, and is perfect for my hands, (glove size large). The thumb-ramp works well, and the balance is perfect for utility use. It arrives with a very nice leather scabbard. There are lots of articles and YouTube videos online of this model. The rrp of this is $349-. Thanks to HH for a great price. I am very pleased with my purchase !
