After reading the reviews and as I am a 39" waist I bought the XL size which fitted me perfectly, it is a substantial belt yet smart and well made , very pleased with it as to the Hennie service , very impressed, especially with the UPS delivery to the local off licence as I am at work during the day , so no hassles chasing deliveries . enough said

What can I say, it's a belt and helps to keep your pants up. Excellent quality as you would expect from 5.11. A heads-up no sizing; I'm 33" waist and the large fits perfect. Great service and speedy delivery from HH as usual.

This belt seems likely to last until the heat-death of the universe. I had previously worn two Helikon-Tex belts (no longer sold by Heinie, I think) which were nice but inappropriately popped open, though only after much wear it must be said. This cannot happen with these 5.11 belts. They are quite simply superb: just like Heinne really!

Too Short/No way to Tighten

Bought for a 32" waist. I bought the 32-34" and it was so short that I could hardly gather enough length to thread it through the buckle. once I did I realised that there is no way to actually tighten it. You end up having to pull it tight then try to feed the end through, all the while it is slipping back through. A frustrating 15 mins and now sending it back

Good quality belt - Black 2XL

Smart looking mid weight & reasonably rigid belt. I wear 38" trousers and was concerned about sizing after reading a few reviews stating some 5.11 belts were very very short , but couldn't find any definitive info regarding physical lengths of the various sizes, so ordered the 2XL size which is advertised as suiting a 44"-46" waist. I've detailed dimensions below in the hope it helps others choose the right size for themselves Physical dimensions of the 2XL belt are: 52.5" long (excluding the silver buckle which measures 1/5" wide x 2"high) x 1/16" thick. Weight: 4.45 oz. All in all I can see this becoming my favourite belt, it looks good, is easy to thread through belt loops, doesn't slip and holds pouches well without rolling. Far more comfortable to wear than the Helikon PS-HKN-CO that it replaces
