With the military and law enforcement communities in mind, this is the new look Smith and Wesson tactical pen. It is made with CNC machined, 6061 T-6 aluminum , making it tough and resistant to wear and tear. Not only is this pen an attractive writing instrument but due to its pointed design can be used as a PDA stylus. It has a click-on click-off cap and a stainless steel pocket clip. Supplied with a black refill.

This is my second "Tactical Pen", the first being the UZI pen also available from HH. Build quality seems superior. The S&W's clip off top makes it more user friendly, no need to twist the tip to deploy the pen. Only 1/4 inch longer than an average pilot pen so sits in the pocket well. Also a good looking pen.
The knurled grip on this pen is handy for a non slip feel during prolonged use.
And the lazer etched logo on the cap,& S&W name on the clip will let others know what pen your sporting, I tried the pen as soon as it came & it's actually a nice quality writer it will look nice next to my two Cross pens but have a special place inside my Maxpedition E.D.C. pocket organizer, will certainly buy the S&W tactical pen.
Another winner from s&w very nice pen it is longer than mk1 pen. How long the plastic insert lasts that makes it click on and off we'll see, writes very smoothly has lanyard hole in top, not quite 5 stars I prefer screw on top but for the money top notch very crisp machining and nice grip when writing recommended zmf.
